Tampa FL Tween Photos

I’m offering Tampa FL Tween Photos in ‘Who I Am’ sessions again this year! I have met so many beautiful tweens the past couple of years and it has been so much fun learning a little about them and capturing their personalities and what they love. This year will be a little different- we are currently in the process of building a new home/getting our current home ready to sell, so my home studio is in disarray. This year’s sessions will take place outside, on location in Wesley Chapel/New Tampa. Read below to learn about the ‘Who I Am’ project and to see how to book a session for your tween!

“Did I not exist as a tween?” I think to myself as I flip the plastic pages of my parents’ family photo album. One of the few photos that exists of me as a preteen is a traditional school photo. You know the one- that head and shoulders pose with the cheesy grin. My teeth are slightly too big for my face and my hair isn’t combed. Ah, sweet innocence.

Babies are so cute, new and chubby. Toddlers have those big, bright eyes and let’s face it, they just do the darnedest things. But those tween ages are often forgotten. At ages 10-12, kids aren’t children anymore but aren’t quite teens.

I’m making it my personal mission to capture those lost preteen years. The goal is to help tweens look and feel beautiful and have unshakable confidence in themselves.

In comes the “Who I Am.” project
This is the third year I will be doing the “Who I am” photography project to fill in the forgotten photo years while enriching the lives of preteens. The main goal is to make preteens look and feel beautiful and be confident in who they are. I want to capture their personality and capture what they love.

Who I’m looking for
I am looking for female OR male subjects, ages 10-12. I will ask the subject and their parents/friends/important people in their lives some questions, then combine the text and photographs to create one impactful piece of art. My goal is to create a gorgeous group of photos you’ll love and that truly show your child’s spirit and soul!

Why “Who I Am”?
I want to capture the personality of these tweens and record the last stage of their childhood before they become young ladies and gentlemen. I want them to realize their true beauty so that they are confident in themselves. Imagine the impact a single beautiful image can do for your tween’s self-image.
