Tampa Fl Birth Photography | Welcome To The World Gavin!

this.  This is what I want to do more of- birth photography.  The excitement, the anticipation, the love, the raw emotion- love every.single thing about it.  I was very honored that my first birth I attended was that of my new nephew, Gavin!  It was the most amazing thing ever.  Made it that much more special to be his birth photographer.  I saw him again the day after he was born, and of course couldn’t resist taking a few more pics of him during his Fresh 48!

Now Gavin didn’t exactly want to join the world as quickly as everyone else wanted him to.  He was already 5 days over his due date and mama was getting induced.  So there was waiting, and waiting, and naps, and more waiting…

Kim was ready for him to come on day one of induction, but Gavin had other plans.  He was WAY too comfy where he was and decided to make everyone wait another day.

So mama got a meal, a good night’s rest and everyone joined back together the next day.  Didn’t mean we had a baby right away though- Gavin was still going to make everyone wait a while longer.  So we all sat back, talked, laughed, waited and made our bets on what time he was going to come and how much he would weigh.  (btw, my time of 7:32pm, which was the latest guess and everyone thought I was crazy, was surpassed!)

Finally it was time!

I went back the next day to see Gavin again!  Can.not.get.enough of this little man.  It might be because he’s my nephew, but I think he’s just perfect and the cutest thing ever.
