My friend Hethre didn’t get the newborn pictures she wanted, so we scheduled this open field session in Wesley Chapel instead.
I feel like I start all my blog posts the same… ‘my friend’, ‘my friend’, ‘my friend’. But it’s true! I love that my friends trust me to take their pictures. And guess what… if we weren’t friends before I took your pictures, I hope to become friends with you after! 🙂
This is my beautiful friend, Hethre. She and I have been friends since our boys were in elementary school together. We have spent many fun times together as part of the school PTA! I got to be a part of her and Jared’s wedding day, and got to take her maternity pictures. I was supposed to take newborn pictures of baby Ryker, but then COVID happened. This was the next opportunity we got. We did pictures of their big, beautiful, blended family in place of the newborn session.
Baby Ryker was 7 months old at this shoot. It was so neat seeing the connection and love all the big kiddos share and have for Ryker. They were so sweet with him.
Besides the big ant pile I stepped in, and the itchy bites I had to deal with for a few weeks after, the field was a perfect spot for photos. So perfect, that there were like 6 other photographers there as well! lol. It makes me sad that the last time I drove by, they were mowing it down. Sure hope whatever is being built there is worth it!
All families are
different and
unique, but they
all have one
thing in common-
LOVE
