Jen contacted me for a Wesley Chapel family photo session for her family of 5. She has 3 littles: 5, 3, and 1. She wasn’t sure we could keep her kids’ attention for more than 30 min, so she opted for a petite session. Her family loves the outdoors and going to the park so we decided on this little spot that was perfect to capture the kids. We had a lot of fun on this warm, sunny day playing and interacting together!
A family creates a
safe space for each
member to grow
and develop into
the person they
were meant to be
Why you chose this location: Close to home, we wanted outdoors but not the beach
What’s your favorite family activity? Outdoor activities- Busch Gardens, the zoo, park
Were you worried about any parts of the session beforehand? Making sure all the kids participated/smiled/listened, and being too hot
Tell me about your favorite parts of our session, or why you enjoyed the session. Kristine was easy to work with, shots were natural and allowed for movement (which is great with young kids), and not too difficult to get everyone to participate (with the exception of our youngest!)
Tell me about the outfits you wore to the shoot. Wanted complementary colors (not matching exactly). We let our daughter pick out her outfit first (Nordstrom). The two boy’s clothes came from Old Navy/Target.
What are some words of wisdom you have for other families preparing for a session? Relax, go with the flow, and trust the/Kristine’s process!
