calming, love the color scheme and how well it was decorated
Were you worried about any parts of the session beforehand? If so, what were the worries?
If my son would be calm but luckily he was!
Tell me about your favorite parts of our session, or why you enjoyed the session.
I enjoyed the photos where I was looking at Alex because he was awake and loving the shoot. I also loved when all 3 of us were in the shoot. I also enjoyed how you had some great poses for us ready to go which is extremely helpful since I wouldn’t know how to pose without your help!
Tell me about the outfits you wore to the shoot (where you bought them, why you chose them, etc).
I wore the same dress I wore to our gender reveal party! And we wanted shades of blue to compliment the neutral & earth tone colors!
What are some words of wisdom you have for others preparing for a session?
Be on time, relax, and enjoy because these photos are forever!

Why you chose your session location OR What you thought of the location:
I loved how cozy and intimate the location felt. It was easy to interact with the environment because it felt like an extension of my home – the outdoor space was also super cute and had we had more time I would have loved to have gotten some shots out there too.
Were you worried about any parts of the session beforehand? If so, what were the worries?
Going into the session I was a little worried about getting three kids to all cooperate, let alone smile, during the session – but as always you worked your magic and got some really beautiful images!
Tell me about your favorite parts of our session, or why you enjoyed the session.
I think my favorite part of the session was just being with my kiddos… so often I’m the one behind the camera capturing sweet moments, but rarely am I included in the photo. I’m forever grateful to have these pictures to remember this special time of life with my littles.
Tell me about the outfits you wore to the shoot (where you bought them, why you chose them, etc).
We all wore earth-toned linens to the shoot, I felt like they would look the most natural with the interior of the location. As an added bonus we felt and looked comfy … my ultimate goal was just to realistically capture our family’s day to day vibe. Not the dressed-up version of us, but the real us. (This shoot we only wore things we already owned, and I was pleasantly surprised at how well it all came together in the end.)
What are some words of wisdom you have for others preparing for a session?
If I could tell another mama anything leading up to their shoot with their kids, it would just be to “let go” … let go of worrying about losing those last few pounds, let go of worrying about if your hair or makeup is just right, let go of all of it. In the end, your kids won’t care about any of it, they will just be happy to have that time with their mom.

Hethre comes to me time and time again for photos and I love her for it! I love getting to see them since our boys are off to college and we don’t see each other at school events anymore. And I love seeing little Ryker grow up!

Tampa Greenhouse Family Photos | For A Lifetime
Abby and Azi joined me for Tampa greenhouse family photos with their littles Liam, Jonah and Scarlett. I’ve known Abby for a little while and have taken headshots for her, but this was my first time meeting her littles and taking pictures of her family. They were precious! Talking with Abby afterwards, it was funny seeing her description of each of their personalities depicted exactly in the pictures.
