Our First Wedding!

A good friend of Kristine’s from highschool (who was in her wedding) asked us to take her wedding pics in June. When we originally started our photography business we decided we were not going to do weddings. TOO MUCH PRESSURE! You can reschedule and re-do baby/toddler/family pics if needed, but a wedding is a one shot deal. Make it or break it. There’s no re-doing a wedding! And needless to say, this is a very important day in the bride’s life… she wants everything to be perfect.

We think, “Well we have over a year to practice and hopefully get some experience being 2nd and 3rd shooters with another photographer. Maybe we can do this.” Then we find out Mary’s wedding is THIS June!

So we get in touch with our photographer friend, Amber and ask if we can tag along with her to one of her weddings and she agreed! We went and assisted her at “S&A’s” wedding this past weekend. WoW! We were dead tired by the time we got home, but had a great time and got some great experience and practice. Thanks again, Amber for letting us come along! Congratulations, “S&A!” Thanks to you guys, too for allowing us to be a part of your special day.
